Media Gateway Control Protocol is known as a Megaco. This Media Gateway Control Protocol is a normal protocol which is used for managing the signaling and gathering management desired throughout a multimedia conference. Media Gateway Control Protocol is able to be used to association, maintain, and conclude calls among multiple endpoints. The Media Gateway Control Protocol takes away the signaling control from the gateway and places it in a media gateway controller, which can then manage various gateways.
This Media Gateway Control Protocol was itself shaped from two supplementary protocols like, Internet Protocol Device Control and Simple Gateway Control Protocol. The main use of a Media Gateway Control Protocol is naturally a network element that allows the exchange between the audio signals agreed on telephone circuits and data packets approved more than the Internet or more over other packet networks. The Call Agent can train the endpoints to notice certain actions and produce the signals.
