The diet of Americans is very vast and it includes wide varieties of items from all over the world.The most common items are fast food such as pizzas, hamburgers and fried chicken. Recently for the past two years some Americans have changed their eating habits as they have become more health conscious ,but most of them are interested in pork, beef and other fowl. People from other countries just wonder on seeing the size of meat and other food items served in restaurants.

Americans normally eat more cakes ,chocolates ,ice creams and other pastries.USA has a fabulous food distribution system which makes the fresh farm food available in all parts of the country .Also Americans are greatly interested in fresh fish and other sea foods available in coastal areas.Eating and dining styles of Americans vary between people of several backgrounds.Normally they use fork in the hand which they write, for eating and they use knife for spreading cheese ,sauce, jam etc.
