Franchitti successfully completed his return to the Indy 300 at Home Stead- Miami speed way on Oct 10th that winned him the series championship. He was born 19 May 1973 in Bathgate, West Lothian. Ganassi welcomed Franchitti back to Indy cars, and they reached the high level once again.
