by admin on October 3, 2009

Windows XP Service Pack2 is the recent updates of Windows XP. It is not already installed on your computer; you can download and install SP2 from the Microsoft Windows Update Website. If you have a slow connection to the internet, such as modem connection, downloading and installing SP2 may take a while. If you do not want to spend the time to download SP2, you can contact Microsoft to have them send you Service Pack2 on a CD.

Before you download Service Pack2, you should back up your files and check your system for Spyware and other unwanted software that performs tasks on your system, usually without your knowledge. You can also check your system manufacturer’s web site to get the new updates or instructions for your computer. The Internet Explorer Window Appears, displaying the Microsoft Windows Update Webpage. Follow the instructions on the Webpage to download and install the new updates for your computer.

First process is, to click Start-> Click All Programs to view a list of the programs on your computer -> Click Windows Update to obtain the new updates for Windows XP.
